Assessments are performed at your first appointment and take approximately 30 minutes. Treatment is received during your first appointment following the assessment, so that you can receive immediate benefit during the first session. All subsequent visits will be one-on-one 30-minute sessions with your physiotherapist.
The number of treatment sessions can vary and is determined by multiple factors. Each individual’s conditions and concerns are unique. Treatment times and prognosis depend on the nature of your complaint. At your initial assessment, your therapist will be able to determine a prognosis and develop a treatment plan that includes patient education, manual therapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation and an exercise program. Combined, these elements will ensure a speedy and efficient recovery.
